The twelve Jyotirlingas are Shiva's most sacred shrines, where he is worshipped as a column of light. They are listed here in the order of the Dvadasha Jyotirlinga Stotram.

  5. VaidyanathDeoghar, Jharkhand

    Vaijnath at Parli, Maharashtra, is also venerated as this Jyotirlinga.

  6. BhimashankarBhimashankar, Maharashtra

    Some traditions identify other sites, including one near Guwahati in Assam.

  7. RamanathaswamyRameswaram, Tamil Nadu
  8. NageshwarDwarka, Gujarat

    Aundha Nagnath in Maharashtra and Jageshwar in Uttarakhand are also venerated as this Jyotirlinga.
